PRESS-GITTERROSTE FÜR REGALANLAGEN
GEI press-locked gratings for shelving can be used for pallet racks and grating cantilevers, for storing heavier loads without the need for increased load absorption by the butt joints. Gratings for shelving are manufactured from S235JR steel and are also available with an press-welded finish.

JE NACH UMFELD UND IHREN ANFORDERUNGEN SIND VERSCHIEDENE AUSFÜHRUNGEN MÖGLICH:
A) Corner flap
This grating is particularly suitable for shelving with reduced-width shelves. Load absorption will be limited.
B) Flanged edge
This grating is suitable for various types of shelving and offers numerous advantages, the most important of which is its cost of manufacture. The butt joint between the two edges provides greater load absorption and safety, and the flanged edge locks the grating in place on the racks.
C) Flat edge
This grating offers good adherence and stability thanks to the contact between the lips on the underside and the racks.
D) Notched edge
The butt joint between the two edges provides greater load absorption and the flanged edge provides safety.
Mesh
- The mesh spacing is defined in accordance with the standards and loads that must be respected:
- For a BB thickness of 2-3 mm: The BB spacing is typically a multiple of 11.11.
- For a BB thickness of 4-5 mm: The BB spacing is typically a multiple of 18. The IB spacing is typically a multiple of 17.
- Other options are available on request.

Assembly
GEI press-locked grating is characterized by transverse, cross bars inserted under high pressure into pre-existing notches in the bearing bars. This grating is produced in “flat” or “T”-shaped sections, welded into place and then optionally undergoes hot-dip galvanizing in accordance with the applicable EN ISO 1461 standards. For situations with an increased risk of slipping, anti-slip grating can be produced, where the upper surface of the bearing bars and/or the transverse bars can be given anti-slip serrations. GEI press-locked grating is typically manufactured from EN 10025 standard S235JR steel, which ensures a consistent production quality. RAL-GZ 638 manufacturing tolerances applied.

STEP 2:

STEP 3:
Application of banding bars

Press-welded grating is obtained by electrical welded transverse bars, which are usually square and twisted (but can be round and straight) into the bearing bars. The grating is produced with “flat” banding, and then optionally undergoes hot-dip galvanizing in accordance with the applicable EN ISO 1461 standards. For an optimised anti-slip surface, it is possible to produce serrated press-welded grating, with serration on the bearing bars only. It is typically manufactured from EN 10025 standard S235JR steel which ensures a consistent production quality. RAL-GZ 638 manufacturing tolerances applied.
