Gefabriceerd volgens technieken die een constante productkwaliteit mogelijk maken (fabricage overeenkomstig RAL-GZ 638) en meestal gemaakt van S235JR-staal. Het geheel kan thermisch verzinkt worden overeenkomstig de norm NEN ISO 1461. meestal in getordeerd vierkantstaal (of met gladde ronde afwerking), door elektrolassen te bevestigen aan draagstaven. Voor de randafwerking wordt een platte rand gebruikt, en het geheel kan thermisch verzinkt worden conform NEN-ISO 1461. Voor optimale antislipeigenschappen kan het elektrogeslaste roosters in gekartelde uitvoering worden gemaakt, maar dan alleen op de draagstaven. Het wordt meestal gemaakt van S235JR-staal conform EN 10025 voor een constante productkwaliteit. Ze worden op de DS geperst (persrooster) of elektrogeslaste (elektrogeslaste rooster).
