Stainless Steel
Stainless steel or stainless steel, is an iron, chromium and nickel alloy known for its corrosion resistance.
Press-locked stainless steel are used in various industries, for example in the Food industry, Chemie, Petrochemical, the Pharmaceutical industries sowie in viticulture and Weinwirtschaft.
Edelstahlgitterroste are easy to maintain and extremely durable.
Depending on their composition, stainless steels are classified into different groups.
GEI Gitterroste offers three types of stainless steel press-locked gratings, available from stock or as custom-made solutions:

| A1 | 304 | 1.4301 | Easy to weld and offers good corrosion resistance at normal ambient temperatures |
| A4 | 316L | 1.4404 | Provides optimal corrosion protection in many environments, including chlorinated environments |
| A4 | 316Ti | 1.4571 | Titanium-stabilized, suitable for high temperatures and aggressive chemicals |
Während Stainless steel 304 withstands temperatures of up to 550 °C, is Edelstahl 316L sogar bis 800 °C, Stainless steel 316Ti sogar bis zu 900°C temperaturbeständig.
Typical applications:
Gitterroste aus Edelstahl 304 are used in the food, pharmaceutical and medical sectors.
Gitterroste aus Edelstahl 316 are particularly well suited to aggressive environments (seawater, saline solutions). For other aggressive substances, suitability must be checked depending on the concentration.
