Materials
GEI, a grating specialist, provides you with a wide range of materials:
Steel

Steel is easy to process and is a widely used material in metal construction, structural steelwork and civil engineering.
Corten Steel

Corten steel is a steel with a characteristic "rust-like" surface reminiscent of untreated steel grating.
No need to worry: this appearance affects neither the strength nor the service life – on the contrary, it even increases the material's resistance.
Stainless steel

Stainless steel has become indispensable in our everyday lives (particularly in the food industry) and is characterised by its high durability as well as a demonstrably long service life.
It is used in numerous industries and is excellently suited for floors, walkways or even drainage channels.
Aluminium

Aluminium is a particularly lightweight material.
Thanks to its low weight, it is ideally suited for canopies, roofing, sun-shading or privacy screening elements.
At the same time, aluminium offers high strength and is also used for pedestrian bridges.
Polyester (GRP)

Polyester is a material that belongs to 65% resin and 35% glass fibre besteht.
This composition gives it increased resistance in aggressive, corrosive and humid environments.
As a true alternative to (stainless) steel, polyester is used for pedestrian bridges, stair treads, technical flooring, balustrades and many other applications.
Rubber Gratings

Rubber is a material with natural properties such as high resistance, anti-slip performance, fatigue reduction and many other advantages.
It is used in industrial areas, in construction and in everyday life.
